Founded in Saudi Arabia, Echelon is the global operating group behind successful AI transformations for businesses and nations.
“Saudi Arabia should be among the nations that define AI, not the nations that consume it.”

The terms on which Echelon makes this website available to you.
1.These terms
This website is operated by Echelon Digital Solutions Company, a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under commercial registration number 7051341746, with its registered address at Building No. 6618, Discovery Street 2, Al Aqeeq District, Riyadh 13519 (“Echelon”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site. We may change these terms at any time by posting a revised version; the “last updated” date shows when they last changed, and your continued use after that date means you accept the change.
2.Purpose of this site
This website is provided for general information about Echelon, its business units, its partners and its activities. It is not an offer, a solicitation, a recommendation, or advice of any kind, including investment, financial, legal, tax or technical advice, and it must not be relied on as the basis for any decision.
Nothing on this site creates a client, advisory, agency, partnership or fiduciary relationship between you and Echelon. Any engagement with Echelon is governed solely by a separate signed agreement, and where anything on this site conflicts with such an agreement, that agreement prevails.
3.Accuracy of information
We take reasonable care with the content of this site, but we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete or current. Content may describe capabilities, partnerships, announcements or plans that change, and may include forward-looking statements which are estimates rather than guarantees of any outcome. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time without notice.
4.Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, design, logos, trade marks, images, video, software and the arrangement of the site, is owned by Echelon Digital Holding Group Ltd, a company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre, and is used by Echelon Digital Solutions Company under licence, or is owned by their licensors. It is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view, download and print content from the site for your own internal, non-commercial reference, provided you keep all proprietary notices intact. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, frame, mine, scrape, or create derivative works from any part of the site, or use it to train or develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence model, without our prior written consent. The Echelon name and logo, the names of its business units, and the marks of the third parties shown on this site are trade marks and may not be used without the permission of their owner.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
introduce malicious code, or interfere with the operation, security or availability of the site;
use automated systems to access, scrape or harvest content without our prior written consent; or
misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with Echelon.
We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, and report conduct to the relevant authorities, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
6.Contacting us
This site has no forms. The contact and media links open your own email client, and anything you send reaches us as ordinary email.
If you write to us, you confirm that you are entitled to send what you send and that it is accurate and not confidential to a third party. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we do not treat unsolicited material as confidential, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose you sent it for. Email is not a secure channel, and you should not send us confidential or sensitive material without agreeing a secure method with us first. Personal data in your message is handled as set out in our Privacy Policy.
7.Careers listings
Our careers listings and applications are hosted by AshbyHQ, a third-party platform. When you apply, you leave this website and your application is submitted to and stored on that platform, whose own terms govern your use of it. Echelon remains responsible for the personal data in your application, as described in section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
8.Third-party links and content
The site links to third-party websites, including those of partners. Those links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship or any commercial relationship beyond what is stated on the site. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content, products, services or practices of any third-party site.
9.Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from viruses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Echelon, the other lines of business under common control with it, and their respective directors, officers and employees are not liable for any loss or damage, including loss of profit, revenue, business, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything on it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Echelon against any claim, loss, liability or reasonable cost arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.
11.Privacy and cookies
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies in the Cookie Notice. Both form part of these terms.
12.Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of this site, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You and Echelon submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Riyadh.
13.General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and Echelon in relation to your use of this site.
These terms are published in English. If we later publish an Arabic version, we will state which language governs.
How Echelon handles personal data collected through this website.
1.Who we are
This website is operated by Echelon Digital Solutions Company, a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under commercial registration number 7051341746, with its registered address at Building No. 6618, Discovery Street 2, Al Aqeeq District, Riyadh 13519 (“Echelon”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Echelon is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its Implementing Regulations.
2.What this policy covers
This is an informational website about Echelon and its business units. It has no accounts, no login, no forms and no payment function, and we do not operate any product or service through it.
Because of that, the amount of personal data involved is small, and this policy describes all of it. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, or to any separate agreement between you and Echelon, which will have its own terms.
3.The data we collect
When you email us. The contact and media links on this site open your own email client. If you write to us, we receive whatever you choose to send: typically your name, email address, organisation and the content of your message. Nothing is captured by the website itself; the message goes to a mailbox.
When you apply for a role. Our careers listings are hosted by AshbyHQ. Applications are submitted to and stored on Ashby’s platform, not on this website. Section 5 sets out how that works.
Automatically, when you visit. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. As with any web host, GitHub’s servers record technical information when a page is requested, including IP address, request time, the page requested, and browser and device type. Those logs are generated and held by GitHub as part of delivering the site. We do not receive them, we do not have access to them, and we do not set how long GitHub keeps them. GitHub’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy statement.
We do not run analytics on this site, we do not build visitor profiles, and we do not use the site for advertising or retargeting. We do not knowingly collect special categories of data through this site, and you should not send such data to us by email. We do not collect personal data from children.
4.Why we use it, and on what basis
Purpose

Steps toward an employment contract; our legitimate interest in recruitment
Keeping the site secure and available

Any of the above
Compliance with a legal obligation
We do not rely on consent for anything on this site, because nothing on it requires consent. If that changes, and we add analytics, a form or a mailing list, this policy and the Cookie Notice will be updated before the change goes live.
5.Job applications
We use AshbyHQ (Ashby, Inc.) as our applicant tracking system. When you apply for a role at Echelon, your application is submitted through Ashby and stored on Ashby’s platform.
Echelon is the controller of your application data. Ashby hosts that data on our behalf under its customer terms of service. Ashby’s infrastructure is located outside Saudi Arabia, so section 7 applies.
We collect the information you provide in your application (name, contact details, CV or résumé, work history, and anything else you choose to include), together with our own interview notes and assessment of your candidacy. We do not ask for, and you should not provide, information about your health, religion, political views or family status.
If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employment record. If you are not, we keep your application for 12 months from the date you applied, so that we can consider you for future roles, after which it is deleted. You may ask us to delete it sooner at any time by writing to privacy@echelon.inc.
6.Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not disclose it to anyone for their own purposes.
We share personal data with: AshbyHQ, as described above; GitHub, Inc., which hosts this website, and the providers of our email systems; other lines of business under common control with Echelon Digital Solutions Company, where necessary for the purposes in section 4; and professional advisers, auditors, regulators or law enforcement, where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims. If any part of our business is reorganised or acquired, personal data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
7.International transfers
Echelon is established in Saudi Arabia. Some of the providers involved in running this site and our recruitment are located outside the Kingdom: AshbyHQ, which hosts job applications, GitHub, Inc., which hosts this website, and Google, which provides our email. Personal data in an application is therefore stored outside Saudi Arabia. Transfers of personal data outside the Kingdom are governed by the Personal Data Protection Law and its transfer regulations. We transfer only what is needed for the purposes described in section 4. If you would like to know how a particular transfer is handled, write to privacy@echelon.inc.
8.How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months from our last contact with you. Applications are kept as set out in section 5. Server logs are held by GitHub, as described in section 3, and their retention is not within our control. We keep data longer only where a legal, tax or regulatory obligation requires it, or where it is needed for an actual or anticipated legal claim.
9.How we protect it
We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption of data in transit, and confidentiality obligations on our staff and providers. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and email in particular is not a secure channel. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive material by email without agreeing a secure method with us first.
10.Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law you may ask us to: tell you the legal basis and purpose for which we process your personal data; give you access to it; provide you with a copy of it in a readable format; correct, complete or update it; and destroy it where it is no longer needed for the purpose we collected it for. Where our processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Write to privacy@echelon.inc. We will respond without undue delay and within any period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), which supervises the application of the Personal Data Protection Law.
11.Links to other sites
This site links to partner and third-party websites, and our careers listings sit on Ashby’s platform. Those sites have their own privacy notices, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
12.Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if our practices or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and a material change will be signalled on the site.
This website does not use cookies. This notice explains what that means.
1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits do comparable things, and in this notice “cookies” covers all of them. They are commonly used to keep a site secure, remember your preferences, or measure how a site is used.
2.The cookies this site uses
This website does not use cookies.
We do not set cookies on your device, we do not use local or session storage, and we do not load analytics, advertising, tracking or social media scripts. We do not measure your visit, build a profile of you, or share anything about your visit with third parties for their own purposes.
Because we set no non-essential cookies, we do not ask you for cookie consent and you will not see a cookie banner on this site. There is nothing for you to accept, reject or configure.
3.What still happens when you visit
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. GitHub’s servers record standard server log information when a page is requested: your IP address, the time of the request, the pages requested, and your browser and device type. That information is generated by the act of connecting to any website, is held by GitHub rather than by us, and is not a cookie. Our Privacy Policy explains this further.
If you follow a link away from this site, whether to a partner’s website or to our careers listings on AshbyHQ, that site may set its own cookies. Those are outside our control and governed by the operator’s own notice.
4.If this changes
We will update this notice before introducing any cookie or similar technology on this site. If we introduce anything beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the site, for example analytics, we will ask for your consent first, through a banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies with equal ease, and lets you change your choice at any time.
5.Managing cookies generally
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and your browser’s help pages explain how. Because this site sets none, doing so will not affect how it works for you.
6.Changes to this notice
We review this notice whenever the site changes, and at least annually. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
7.Contact
This notice is issued by Echelon Digital Solutions Company, a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under commercial registration number 7051341746, with its registered address at Building No. 6618, Discovery Street 2, Al Aqeeq District, Riyadh 13519.
People who know me know I don’t post often. I keep my head down, focus on the work, and try to let the results speak. This feels like the right moment to break that pattern.
I spent most of my life between Riyadh, London and the US, and I came home to the Kingdom a few years ago, driven by curiosity, hard work, and a willingness to ask the questions I don’t know the answers to.
Alongside a few members of my family, I founded East40 to make long-term, high-conviction bets on the sectors that will shape our country’s future. AI was one of them, and we wanted to found and operate an AI business from the ground up.
Under our Crown Prince’s leadership, the Kingdom is putting real capital, mandates and urgency behind the sectors that will define its next chapter, and asking the next generation to build the businesses that will carry that ambition. Nowhere is that clearer than in AI, where H.E. Abdullah Alswaha and MCIT have made adoption a national priority, giving founders like me the clarity to move fast. Vision 2030, to me, is the work the next generation is being asked to help deliver.
Artificial intelligence sits at the centre of it. I believe Saudi Arabia should be among the nations that define it, not the nations that consume it.
My mission is to do my part in what our country is building.
The moment we’re in and the gap that has to be closed
AI has moved from a research topic to something countries and companies are actually trying to use, to run operations, serve customers and compete. The ones who lead the next decade won’t simply be the ones who deploy AI. They will be the ones who put it to work on their hardest problems, again and again, and build on what they learn.
Saudi Arabia is one of the very few places doing this at scale. Across logistics, energy, industrials and defence, some of the world’s hardest problems are being tackled with a level of ambition, access and urgency that is difficult to find elsewhere. These are exactly the problems the best AI companies in the world, global and local, want to work on.
And yet, in nearly every conversation I’ve had with enterprises here, the same challenge comes up. The pace of AI is moving faster than the ability of organisations to turn it into something real. Choosing the right technologies and partners is hard. Making AI work inside complex organisations is harder. And turning individual deployments into lasting capability is harder still.
Echelon exists to close that gap.
What is Echelon?
Echelon is what we’ve been building over the last ten months, founded here in Riyadh and backed early by East40, Raed Ventures and Avra, alongside Ben Horowitz and others.
We work on both sides of the AI equation: with the best technology companies, local and global, across the full AI value chain, from infrastructure to applications; and with the enterprises, industries and governments trying to put that technology to work. Our purpose is simple: to close the gap between what AI can do and what organisations are actually able to build with it. Our mission is to take AI from ambition to everyday use, first in Saudi Arabia, then across the region, and eventually wherever else we can be useful. For enterprises and governments here, that means AI transformation: we work on the problems that matter most to them and stay until it is running and in use. Our vision is a Kingdom that builds lasting AI capability of its own, and an Echelon that helped make that happen.
We work with a founder mindset, embedding with our partners, on the ground here and becoming an extension of their team. We are built for large-scale value rather than deal count, with a concentrated portfolio of serious, long-term engagements. And we are flexible about the shape of every partnership: commercial, joint venture or purpose-built, matching the structure to the ambition of the opportunity and putting our own capital, resources and people behind it. If you are leading AI transformation in your organisation, we’d like to hear from you.
I’m trying to combine two worlds: the Saudi way, patient, trustworthy and long-term, and the US and UK way, fast, ambitious and obsessive about execution. Echelon is our attempt to bring the best of both into one company.
What we do
Echelon has four areas of focus.
Technologies is our commercial engine. It brings the best AI companies in the world, and the best being built here in the Kingdom, into the enterprises and government customers that need them, and builds long-term partnerships around them. It runs everything from focused deployments that deliver value quickly to large-scale, multi-year programmes across whole organisations, with a dedicated team accountable for the results. Live and delivering today, focused on Energy, Industrials, Government, Telco, Defence, Aviation, Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare.
Technologies is led by Omar Saleh. Omar is an exceptional operator who spent the last 20 years at Microsoft, successfully running its enterprise business in the Kingdom. Around him is a team of operators who have run sales, delivery and customer success at the highest level across AWS, Microsoft, Accenture and elsewhere.
Frontier, launching Q4 2026, is our forward-deployed engineering team. Our engineers work inside customers’ operations until the system is live and in use, in three ways: deploying our partners’ AI and making it work, building applied AI applications and IP directly with customers, and partnering with AI-native companies that need engineering on the ground here. Every engagement leaves Saudi engineers trained on real work, and IP built and held in the Kingdom.
We are building the Frontier team now with exceptional international and local talent, focused on applied AI and product-focused forward-deployed engineers. If you want to build AI where the problems are hard and the impact is real, come and find us.
Institute, also launching Q4 2026, is how we train Saudi engineers ourselves, from day one. The first cohort is focused on Physical AI, learning through real work already underway. Graduates go wherever they will have the greatest impact: into Echelon, our partners, or the wider Saudi AI ecosystem.
Echelon Defense Industries, launching Q1 2027, is built for the scale of the defense opportunity ahead and the different requirements that come with it. Its purpose is to help the Kingdom build sovereign defence capability. More on this later.
Our partners so far
We have chosen to go deep with a few partners to start, and the portfolio will grow with the work we do with real customers.
Applied Intuition. One of the most important partnerships we have built early on. Together with Qasar Younis and the Applied team, we are bringing physical AI to the industries and customers that will define the Kingdom’s next decade across logistics, mining, ports, industrial operations, mobility, and more. Applied and Echelon share a commitment to building local engineering talent in Saudi Arabia, and to working shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers across every sector we serve, so the technology that lands here is engineered here, operated here, and owned here. Full announcement here.
IFS. Together with Mark Moffat and the IFS team, we are bringing world-class industrial software and enterprise AI into the operational systems that run the Kingdom’s real economy. IFS is the category leader in industrial AI, and our partnership is built to embed their capability directly where it will have the most impact. Full announcement here.
Rubrik was one of our earliest partnerships. Bipul Sinha and his team have been with us since late 2025 and continue to be an important part of our ecosystem as we scale. Previous announcement here.
We have some exciting partnerships to announce over the coming months, across every layer of the stack. We are also here to partner with the AI companies being built in the Kingdom and across the region, because backing local AI is as much part of the mandate as bringing global AI in.
If you are building in AI and want to grow across Saudi Arabia, we want to hear from you at partnerships@echelon.inc.
Culture, talent, and the call to build with us
Echelon is a place for builders and operators: people who take ownership from beginning to end, care more about outcomes than activity, move fast when the problem is hard, and refuse to compromise on quality or integrity. It is a place where exceptional people can do the best work of their careers, trusted with real responsibility.
Céline, our Head of People, Culture & Organizational Capability, leads this for us. She has spent her career building and leading high-performing teams and organisations. Getting the people and culture right will make or break everything else we’re trying to build.
If you’re an engineer, operator, or specialist in one of the sectors we serve, come and talk to us. We’re hiring. See our open roles at echelon.inc/careers.
